It's currently not really made super-clear to players that this is an available route, and hence the confusion that you and some other players are having. We wanted to offer a way for people to get all the in-game content for free if they really want to go that route. The new levels do not cost an extra dollar. But instead they did the other thing, and they won't get another dollar from me. 🤨 I did it once, because honestly if they had just released this as, you know, a whole game, with a pricetag, I would have bought it for more than that already. It would appear that every additional one level costs a dollar. But here's the kicker: the way this "game" thinks that I value its "content" as a first time player is baffling to me. You know: not offensive or embarrassing, which seems rare enough these days. I mean sure the pixel art thing is so unimaginative you can't even really call it a choice anymore but at least it's a good version of that. Maybe they just got lucky, but it feels to me like a thing made by a person who actually cared about making something good. And I can honestly say that the gameplay here, in terms of the controls and the "physics" of the game are outstandingly good. Jupiter is a prolific indie game journalist with a focus.
