Web wallpapers may disappear during full-screen applications and fail to load until you remove and re-add them in Lively, and some dynamic wallpapers may fail to work at all. The WebView2 plugin (required for Window Swap, above) seems to have some problems.This option is available under Settings > Performance. Laptop users may want to disable live wallpapers when on battery power.Lively Wallpaper is still under active development and has seen a steady stream of improvements over the last year, but it’s still not without some rough edges. Any wallpaper files in this directory will be deleted when you remove them from the app, and you can change the directory to move all the wallpapers in it. You can store these wallpapers anywhere, but Lively does offer its own directory, which you can look up under Settings > General > Wallpaper Directory. You can then select a file or use drag and drop. The Publish to Workshop dialogue box will appear to ask you to fill in a few details about your work.To add a new wallpaper in Lively, just click the Add Wallpaper button at the top. Publishing it is entirely optional, but if you’d like to share it with the rest of the Wallpaper Engine community, simply go to Workshop on the top menu then click ‘ Share Wallpaper on Workshop.’ Publishing your wallpaper to the Wallpaper Engine Workshop To apply that live wallpaper you just made, go to File then hit ‘ Apply Wallpaper.’Ĩ. Bear in mind that the app regularly and automatically saves your project, but just in case you made last-minute changes, be sure to go to File then hit Save.
Once you’ve made all the necessary edits and tweaks, it’s now time to save, apply and even publish your finished dynamic wallpaper.
Use these handles to change your asset’s position, resize it and change its angle. 3D handles composed of a green arrow, a red arrow, a circle and a square should appear. To do so, simply select the asset you’d like to tweak. You should be able to move, rotate and scale every asset you add.
